Holiday Hubbub at Food Stamps Cooking Club

We hope you have been enjoying your holiday fun! Things have been rather hectic in the Club House and we suspect life has been busy for all of you, as well! Here’s hoping you all have made wonderful memories with family and friends and are enjoying good health! For 2013, we wish you all good things with a year laden with joy, bliss, radiant good health and overflowing abundance!

The Food Stamps Cooking Club is taking its show on the road! An invitation to present a “Soup Kitchen” has come from the YWCA in Grand Island, NE. This will take place sometime early in the new year. We will keep you in the loop.

It has been delightful and heartwarming to see how many new faces are popping up as Members of the Club! We really do appreciate your sharing the word. We hope to help people who use public assistance for their food and with your help, more people will learn how to s t r e t c h their food dollars and eat to be healthy! Thank you all.

The ABC news network aired a wonderful segment and I was touched by it. I had hoped to share it here but was unable to do so. I hope you’ll take a few minutes to check it out here.

WordPress has drastically changed its format so Mother Connie is at a total loss…there seems to be no way to edit as usual and it seems to be no way to create the look that was the hallmark of the Food Stamps Cooking Club. We apologize for lack of glam and inability to jazz things up. :( sigh…l o n g sigh… The kitchen is a better place for that now, supposedly.

Do enjoy what’s left of the holiday season. Begin 2013 with vim, vinegar, and vitality. Dream large and make good things happen in your life and the lives of those you love. Let’s see what we can create together in this new year, so full of hope and promise, shall we?

Love
Mother Connie
